Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Assist chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food environment.
- Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.
Requirements:
- A passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
