About the Role
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading a high-performing pharmacy team. With a focus on community spirit and customer satisfaction, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives. Our pharmacies are led and supported exclusively by pharmacists, and we're committed to developing new ways to deliver the best service possible for our communities.
Key Responsibilities
• Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services to customers
• Play an active role in our charity support program, providing advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
• Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
• Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to ensure seamless patient care
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
What You'll Need
• A Pharmacy Degree
• Passion for leading and empowering a team
• Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
• Completion of a DBS check (organized by us) before employment
