A great opportunity for an enthusiastic chef to help the Head/Executive Chefs run a very busy casual restaurant operation. This position offers a fantastic work/life balance with above average financial remuneration.

Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity.

This restaurant enjoys regular volumes of customers, at peak times the restaurant can cater for more than 150 covers per day. It's a 7 day a week operation, popular especially during the weekend with locals and visitors to the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head/Executive Chefs in running a high-volume kitchen
  • Manage breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Run a section, supporting the kitchen from within
  • Produce fantastic consistent fresh food
  • Work with a small team to desired standards
  • Manage stock levels and all relevant kitchen paperwork
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations

Requirements:

  • High-volume background experience, ideally with experience of busy services catering for up to 100 min covers per service
  • Hands-on experience of managing breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for the role and commitment to delivering high-quality food
