Job Title: Junior to Mid-Weight Development Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior to Mid-Weight Development Designer to join our team at Positive Source Ltd. As a key member of our development design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative retail display solutions for our clients in the beauty and cosmetic industry.

About the Role:

As a Development Designer, you will work closely with our clients and retailers to understand their brand and consumer ambitions. You will be responsible for translating these needs into effective retail display solutions using a combination of 2D and 3D CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and retailers to understand their brand and consumer ambitions
  • Consult with team members to establish and evaluate project requests and deliverables
  • Present design development proposals to approved solutions
  • Consider design for sustainability, value-add, and manufacturing
  • Create development solutions that are innovative, sustainable, cost-effective, and manufacturable
  • Create planogram or value-engineered presentations using technical illustrations and 3D modeling
Ideal Skills:
  • University degree in Product Design or similar
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to prepare drawings, illustrations, renderings, presentations, or rough sketches
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Client-facing skills
