Job Title: Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor

Project Partners is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor to join our thriving team in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a full-time opportunity, and the ideal candidate will be based in and around Rugby.

Job Role:

We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability in the designated area of the plant while meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial targets.

  • Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure suitable parts, labour, and equipment are available to deliver the maintenance plan.
  • Ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
  • Coordinate deployment of labour, parts, and equipment resources.
  • Manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivation, and discipline.
  • Monitor performance of own staff and contractors and ensure jobs proceeding to plan.
  • Supervise the carrying out of preventative maintenance inspections.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Bachelor (degree) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 years experience as Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant.
