Position Overview
Senior Risk Management Role
The Natural Resources sector at Turner & Townsend is experiencing rapid growth, leading to an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to join our expanding team. This position involves engaging with high-profile projects and programmes, providing the chance to innovate, collaborate, and learn from seasoned Risk Management professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee teams of Risk Management professionals to ensure effective risk management across a variety of projects and programmes.
- Develop, design, and execute customized risk management processes.
- Promote continuous enhancement of Risk Management processes to increase efficiency and deliver value to clients.
- Facilitate the implementation of modifications to Risk Management strategies.
- Serve as a risk subject matter expert for significant projects or programmes.
- Create and conduct risk training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain and manage project and programme risk registers while driving mitigation strategies.
- Oversee Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis activities.
- Contribute to both national and regional risk communities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in managing risk across multiple projects and programmes is essential.
- Knowledge of risk standards and methodologies, such as ISO31000 and APM, is crucial.
- Proficiency in Quantitative Risk Analysis techniques is required.
- Familiarity with risk management tools is advantageous.
- Experience in integrating risk with other Project Controls disciplines is preferred.
- A recognized risk qualification is a plus.
