Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in North Devon, working with children and young people experiencing significant and complex mental health difficulties and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality psychological care to children and young people, using evidence-based and outcome-monitored therapies.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers, using goal-based care and routine outcome measures.
- Contribute to the development of others, including supervision and training, and clinical leadership skills to improve quality and service development.
- Participate in safeguarding children and ensuring their safety, in partnership with other agencies.
- Attend to diversity and promote anti-discriminatory practice in all aspects of work.
Our team is a diverse and multi-disciplinary group, including Clinical Psychologists, Systemic Psychotherapists, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Mental Health Practitioners.
Requirements- Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Masters level qualification.
- Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Experience of working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures.
- Experience of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and across agencies.
- Experience of working with a range of children and young people with complex needs, maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems.
