Position Summary

The Brand Manager for Northern Europe will play a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of brand strategies and initiatives across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions, focusing on both existing and forthcoming diagnostic tests.

This position will involve close collaboration with the Sr. Marketing Manager for Northern Europe and various cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective delivery of high-quality content, materials, and programs that align with our brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy Development: Assist in crafting brand strategies and spearhead key tactical initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across country teams (e.g., promotional materials, messaging, media selection, and digital initiatives).
  • Strategic Marketing Advocacy: Foster a strategic marketing mindset by championing our brands, sharing best practices, and ensuring clarity in our marketing approach.
  • Tactical Execution: Collaborate closely with commercial and medical teams to ensure that marketing tactics are relevant and aligned with brand strategies.
  • Material Compliance: Ensure that all marketing materials and activities meet compliance standards, are delivered on time, and maintain high quality, working with medical and compliance teams.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track the implementation of tactical plans and report updates to the Sr. Marketing Manager.
  • Company Values: Uphold the mission and values of the organization through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Policy Adherence: Support and comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Project Management: Exhibit strong planning, management, and implementation skills for marketing projects, with an emphasis on prioritization and time management.
  • Analytical Expertise: Analyze complex data (both scientific and commercial) to draw insights that support marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Be a self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a dynamic team environment.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 20% or more.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a commercial capacity within the UK or EU.
  • Experience in:
    • Brand planning cycles in pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
    • Collaborating with commercial field teams and cross-functional therapy area teams.
    • Building relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes of practice.
  • Understanding of the market landscape in the UK and Nordic countries; knowledge of Ireland is a plus.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset, with the ability to see the broader context.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and self-driven.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian languages is desirable.
