Catering Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Biotech York. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing polite, prompt, and friendly service to colleagues and guests
- Communicating effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery
- Acting in line with guidance and procedures from lead chef and/or room manager to optimize team performance
- Taking pride in your work and adhering to agreed standards with your team
- Actively seeking to further knowledge and skills, and improving personal performance
- Complying with all company and unit policies regarding Health & Safety, Food safety, Allergens, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH
- Personally demonstrating responsibility for your own health and safety
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Requirements:
- No prior experience is necessary; we welcome individuals who share our energy and passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Previous Catering Experience in Cold Food prep, serving on the counter, and Washing up is preferred
- Black safety shoes are required
