About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Brigg, Lincolnshire. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Encourage positive behavior and help students develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to addressing the needs of students.
  • A collaborative mindset, working well with teachers and support staff.
  • Flexibility to assist in various classroom activities and adapt to the evolving needs of students.
