About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shift Operator to join our team at ADM. As a Shift Operator, you will be responsible for processing crude and fully refined oils from delivery to blending and loading for use in the food and feed manufacturing industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process crude and fully refined oils from delivery to blending and loading.
  • Operate a number of processes including chemical and physical neutralisation, interesterification, deodorisation, bleaching, and tank farm management.
  • Monitor and review plant conditions to ensure the plant is running at optimum condition.
  • Manage changes in process conditions and react to optimise the process, minimising delays and meeting demand.
  • Adhere to ADM's health and safety commitment.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across site.
  • Ensure all company documentation is completed in a legible fashion, accurately, methodically, and on a timely basis.
  • Front/first response/investigation for maintenance issues.
  • Allocation of duties via the shift manager.

Your Profile

  • GCSE Levels A to C or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Basic Microsoft packages experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable.
  • Performance and results orientated.
