Job Summary:

The Oaklea Trust is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Youth Group Worker to join our team for 6 hours per week. As a Youth Group Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children and young people through engaging activities and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Youth Group Leader to plan and deliver activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Design and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children and young people.
  • Provide support and guidance to children and young people during after-school clubs and activities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive environment that fosters positive relationships and a sense of community.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm and creativity in working with children and young people.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (paid for by The Oaklea Trust).
