We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Officer to join our Wheelchair and Orthotics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Arrange for wheelchair and orthotics equipment to be sent to or collected by service users in accordance with therapist or assistant instructions.
- Update patient records accurately and efficiently.
- Work closely with multiple departments and external agencies to share information and ensure seamless communication.
- Unbox and handle deliveries of orthotic and wheelchair equipment, including assembly of wheelchairs as required.
- Raise orders for wheelchair and orthotic equipment and monitor these orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Contact patients to arrange delivery of equipment ahead of appointments or ensure delivery to collect locations.
- Participate in review of own performance regularly and development of personal development plan.
- Contribute to quality improvement within the Wheelchair & Orthotics service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
