Graduate Surveyor

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor to join our Estates Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an effective estate management and valuation service for the Council, specializing in property and strategic asset management.

You will work closely with our Senior Estates Surveyor to manage a diverse portfolio of assets, including town halls, libraries, schools, depots, community buildings, sports grounds, and parks. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the Council grows its real estate portfolio income and delivers key services to residents.

As a Graduate Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in property negotiations, property law, and the valuation of the Council's assets and land. You will be part of a team of like-minded professionals who will provide support and ensure a range of property experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an effective estate management and valuation service for the Council
• Manage a diverse portfolio of assets, including property and land
• Work closely with the Senior Estates Surveyor to achieve key objectives
• Gain experience in property negotiations, property law, and asset valuation

Requirements:

• Commercial Property Graduate with a passion for asset management
• Experience in property and either a cognate degree or willingness to study for a real estate qualification
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a flexible hybrid working environment
