We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure architecture to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure architecture to meet business requirements
  • Create technical concepts and architecture guidelines for cloud usage
  • Migrate software and systems to the cloud
  • Advise on setting up and tailoring cloud services
  • Support project teams during design and migration phases
  • Implement multi-supplier strategy
  • Ensure IV service providers provide services in accordance with contracts
  • Conclude framework agreements with IT service providers and companies
  • Plan and manage IT service budget

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google
  • Knowledge of DevOps, automation, deployment processes, software development, software architecture, and IT security
  • Experience in IT projects, relevant IT architectures, and sound knowledge of IT management
  • Good command of English
  • Car driver's license
