Head of Commercial Opportunity

Rubicon People Partnership is working exclusively with a leading specialist in the engineering industry to find a talented Head of Commercial to drive sales and revenue growth.

This newly appointed position offers a unique opportunity for a senior commercial professional to take ownership of developing and implementing commercial strategies, working closely with the Managing Director and other senior leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profit while offering competitive pricing
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with technical, production, and senior leadership teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of commercial performance

Requirements:

  • Senior commercial experience in an engineering or manufacturing business
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Financial and analytical acumen, with experience in forecasting and performance analysis
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to quality and service excellence
