Your Role in the Organization
As part of a company that prioritizes technical talent, career development, and the cultivation of advanced skills, you will leverage your business analysis and industry knowledge within our IT team. Collaborating with other global IT hubs, you will play a vital role in supporting the Energy business through various projects focused on trading activities.
Key Responsibilities:
In your capacity as a business analyst, you will be tasked with identifying and documenting business requirements, engaging with stakeholders from both business and IT sectors to explore viable solution options. You will oversee the requirements throughout the entire solution delivery lifecycle and ensure a smooth transition of expertise to the support team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and modeling processes, data flows, and technologies to identify current value, challenges, and areas for enhancement.
- Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed, managing expectations, and fostering trust and credibility.
- Connecting technical solutions with business strategies while collaborating with business partners.
- Demonstrating strong teamwork skills and the ability to integrate into a large organization.
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the energy trading sector.
- Familiarity with the commodity trade lifecycle in energy markets.
- Proficient in capturing business challenges, value drivers, and both functional and non-functional requirements, with clear documentation to communicate these needs.
- Knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Front Office - pricing, P&L, and exposure management.
- Middle Office - Market Risk and Risk Valuation.
- Back Office - Confirmations, Settlements processes, and/or accounting functions.
- A collaborative team player who proactively communicates and shares insights within a diverse team environment.
- Experience in data analytics from both technical and business perspectives.
