Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, and customer-centric individual with a strong desire for professional growth. An aptitude for technology and mechanical skills is essential, along with exceptional troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Travel Requirements:

This position entails significant travel, approximately 70% of the time, with assignments lasting up to two weeks throughout the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install computer and hardware components on large commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose and resolve installation challenges promptly and professionally.
  • Provide technical support to the Technical Support Team.
  • Assist in preparing customer shipments, including light assembly, hardware configuration, unit testing, data logging, and packing/shipping.
  • Process return material authorizations (RMAs).
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently, both internally and externally (documentation and record-keeping).
  • Conduct repairs on units, both hardware and software, while effectively communicating issues to development engineers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools, principles, and procedures for installing computer systems in heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
  • Proven experience in high-quality electronics installations.
  • A strong sense of personal motivation, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience in communicating with various stakeholders, including peers, other departments, and external clients.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technologically proficient.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Office Suites.

  • High standards of accuracy and organization.
