Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venture Capital Analyst to join our team. As a Venture Capital Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and analyzing financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, ensuring that CVX Ventures sees and is offered all interesting deals in the market.
  2. Deal Flow Management: Create a continuous and high-quality deal flow, analyzing companies, markets, industries, and teams to make informed investment decisions.
  3. Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities, including financial modeling, market research, and due diligence.
  4. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate term sheets and ensure that CVX Ventures wins the best investment opportunities, and close investment rounds with our partners.
  5. Investment Committee Presentations: Present investment opportunities to our investment committee, providing clear and concise recommendations.
Requirements
  1. High Work Ethic: Demonstrate a high work ethic and sense of urgency, with the ability to close deals and meet deadlines.
  2. Deal-Closing Skills: Possess the ability to close deals and negotiate term sheets.
  3. Drive and Motivation: Show unusual drive and desire to be the best at what you do, with a proactive approach and ownership of everything you do.
  4. Analytical Skills: Possess exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with a genuine interest in learning and proactively seeking ways to improve.
  5. Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree with excellent results, and have 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, banking, or similar.
  6. EU Work Permit: Possess a valid EU work permit.
