Crooton is seeking a skilled Finance Operations Lead to enhance our established operational finance team. This multifaceted role involves providing strategic support and direction to management teams throughout the organization, ensuring adherence to financial, operational, and administrative policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business improvements through the analysis of operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement, and implementing corrective measures for ongoing development.

As we expand our portfolio of care facilities across the UK, this position is essential for delivering exceptional service to numerous locations nationwide.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary team, preferably within the NHS or private healthcare sector
  • Proven track record in service enhancement
  • Capability to manage organizational change
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Valid UK driving license with the ability to travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Sales Ledger Administrators and Team Leaders
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for residents
  • Guide Sales Ledger Team Leaders and Senior Administrators in supporting care facilities
  • Manage the posting and allocation of received payments
  • Supervise credit control processes to minimize debt
  • Assist senior management with financial administration concerns
  • Ensure comprehensive training for home-based administration teams
  • Provide development training to managers on financial performance and management accounts
  • Maintain records related to complaints and debt cases requiring legal intervention
  • Support the professional growth of team members
  • Develop reporting tools for directors to facilitate informed decision-making
