About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Administrator to join our team at the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and work closely with our Policy Development Officer to deliver policy, procedure, and guidance within the arena of law enforcement backstopping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to members of staff within the Backstopping Hub
  • Work closely with the Policy Development Officer to deliver policy, procedure, and guidance
  • Collaborate with the Operational Problem Solving Team within the Hub and key UK national law enforcement partners
  • Travel for business purposes, mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK
Requirements
  • Good standard of education with a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrate good research skills and a methodical approach when researching
  • Able to work effectively with minimum supervision while remaining team-focused
  • Experience of operational security risks in relation to undercover policing
