Job Title: Nights Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nights Support Worker to join our team at The Forum School and Residential Home in Dorset. As a Nights Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with Autism to live meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support young people in their Forum School home during the night and assist with morning routines
  • Administer prescribed emergency medication as needed
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with staff and young people
  • Encourage and motivate young people to wake and prepare for their day
  • Provide emotional and physical support to young people
  • Produce accurate and prompt written reports and records
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
About The Forum School and Residential Home

The Forum School and Residential Home is a 52-week residential specialist school in Dorset that provides quality therapeutic care and education for young people with Autism, severe learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, and complex needs. Our team is dedicated to helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the young people and service users within our care. All candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks. We conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of our safeguarding checks.
