Job Title: SEN Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Coordinator to join our team at MLK Education Search. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of SEN policy and provision in our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SEN policy and provision in line with school and local authority guidelines
  • Provide professional development to colleagues, parents, and other relevant agencies
  • Be the Deputy DSL to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, and follow school policies and the staff code of conduct
  • Be the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree, with QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Successful teaching and management/leadership experience within a Primary setting
  • Solid understanding of the SEN COP, safeguarding, and child protection
  • Evidence of leading staff training related to teaching and SEN
