Job Title: Paramedic Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily lives.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
  • Work autonomously and use your clinical expertise to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and have IT competency.
