Position Overview

Dakota Manchester is in search of a detail-oriented and commercially savvy finance expert for the pivotal role of Financial Insights Analyst. This position will report directly to the Head of Commercial Finance.

Contract and Compensation

This is a hybrid position offering a permanent contract for 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week. The annual salary for this role ranges from £33,000 to £35,000, depending on the candidate's experience and skill set, along with a performance-based bonus.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing data-driven decision-making and the overall commercial viability of the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough analyses of financial performance to support medium and long-term strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborating with Hotel Operations teams to identify growth opportunities and areas for performance enhancement.
  • Performing weekly performance assessments to diagnose results and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Working alongside senior management on critical areas such as budgeting, capital expenditure, and resource management.
  • Developing and maintaining reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators related to room and food & beverage metrics.
  • Compiling weekly and monthly revenue and sales reports, contributing to analytical reports and presentations.
  • Utilizing all relevant organizational systems effectively, including reporting modules and system integrations.
  • Assisting the revenue team with comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, forecast future revenue, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Collaborating with the Data Analyst to improve and automate reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements
