Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated set of financial tasks with precision and independence.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct price verification for food-related invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accurate supplier balances.
- Oversee supplier payments and their corresponding reconciliations.
- Perform weekly reviews of the Trade Payables ledger for management oversight.
- Address and resolve supplier inquiries promptly.
- Conduct weekly cash counts and safe reconciliations.
- Prepare and complete monthly stock take activities.
- Ensure all documentation meets established standards and is organized for easy retrieval.
- Manage the ordering of office supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Complete month-end tasks to finalize accounts payable by deadlines.
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
- Provide coverage for the Assistant Management Accountant as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £28,000, with the possibility of flexible working hours. Employees enjoy 28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
