We're looking for a skilled Claims Assessor - Technical to join our team at Vermelo RPO. As a Claims Assessor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring pets receive the care they need by assessing and validating pet insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and settle pet insurance claims with precision and care.
  • Make proactive outbound calls to customers, especially when claims require declines or deductions.
  • Gather important information from pet owners and vets to make informed decisions.
  • Identify any anomalies or potential fraud and work with your team to ensure everything is above board.
  • Keep the process smooth and efficient while delivering top-notch customer service.
Requirements:
  • Experience in pet medical assessment or vet nursing.
  • Previous experience in a claims role, ideally in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • A team player who can work independently and take initiative.
