Facility Maintenance Cleaner - Educational Institution

Competitive Salary, £13/hour

25 Hours per week

Norse Group is collaborating with local partners to provide exceptional cleaning services in the community.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at an educational institution, working part-time for 25 hours each week, Monday to Friday, with a start time of 2:30 PM. This position is available for 43 weeks annually.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of floors and rooms through dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Disposing of waste, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring hygiene stations are stocked.
  • Establishing rapport with on-site clients.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols consistently.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damages promptly.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals who can showcase prior experience in cleaning or caretaking roles, along with:

  • Understanding of basic health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
