RESPONSIBILITIES

Weatherford has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Technical Asset Manager to join the Drilling Services team. The Geozone Technical Asset Manager is tasked with overseeing Drilling Services EUA assets and inventory to ensure optimal distribution across the Geozone according to operational requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute the GeoZone / Global stranded Asset & Inventory process.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the standardization of asset traceability in alignment with internal product line requirements and external governing standards, resulting in enhanced asset management, utilization, and lifespan.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate tasks and responsibilities to achieve established objectives efficiently.
  • Manage and coordinate AFE and CAPEX implementation across the GeoZone.
  • Oversee asset requirements and collaborate closely with Drilling Services Global asset management to fulfill GZ needs.
  • Maintain communication with EUA OMs and R&M teams to ensure asset delivery plans are met and customer needs are satisfied.
  • Plan and forecast asset requirements utilizing RJM database support.
  • Ensure that the GeoZone Drilling Services fixed assets register aligns with inventory records, both physically and in accounting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all relevant modules of JDE, and effectively utilize ERP and spreadsheets for managing Weatherford Asset and Inventory processes.
  • Exhibit the ability to understand and utilize other tools employed by Weatherford for supply chain management, including WBAMS, BI, Essbase, MyAdvisor, etc.
  • Manage and oversee external repairs with vendors to meet asset deployment forecasts.
  • Responsible for completing the Asset Retirement process when applicable.
VISION & LEADERSHIP
  • Collaborate with leadership to advance the continual quality improvement strategy of the company to achieve strategic business objectives and profitability.
  • Establish and monitor targets for Key Performance Indicators and develop safety and service quality improvement action plans aimed at enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency at regional, well site, and field locations.
  • Create short and long-term plans with country/area leadership to meet service delivery requirements for clients.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
  • Promote continuous quality improvement systems across all areas, fostering an environment where innovation, entrepreneurship, and courage are valued and encouraged.
  • Gain insights into overall customer service delivery projects and review with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate the movement of equipment and personnel within the country/area and serve as the point of contact when equipment and personnel are needed from/by other locations.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization to provide reporting and analysis that will facilitate business improvement and operational efficiency.
TEAM BUILDING & MENTORING
  • Encourage teamwork through open communication to ensure correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements are implemented and adhered to.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for personnel.
  • Lead efforts in people management to cultivate a motivated, disciplined, and productive workforce, including effective staff leadership, performance management, and communication.
QUALIFICATION
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory or asset management within the oil and gas sector.
  • Operational experience in drilling services is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, etc.
  • Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel are advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Commitment to adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
