About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our UK Sustainability group at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering Whole Life Carbon Assessment (WLCA) services to major public and private sector clients, helping them to develop and meet decarbonisation targets and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in setting suitable decarbonisation targets and outlining a route to achieving these.
  • Liaise directly with clients and designers to recommend key low carbon measures and support the drive to decarbonisation.
  • Deliver large scale projects with a view to implement low carbon initiatives.
  • Train and support staff in WLCA modelling.
  • Join the broader AECOM sustainability practice, network with colleagues, and engage in other internal project opportunities.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of the building design and construction process.
  • Experience of undertaking fee calculations and bid writing.
  • Ability to work across a range of sustainability projects with support and mentoring from technical specialists in the team, as required.
