About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Recruit Select. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and match purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and send supplier payment runs, ensuring timely payment and maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • Manage fixed assets and pre-payments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Assist with credit card statement reconciliation and entry to the ledger
  • Prepare and process supplier refunds, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless processing of purchase ledger transactions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
