Job Summary: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Maintenance Supervisor to join our Transportation team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Reactive Works team, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely development and delivery of reactive maintenance, emergency response, and adverse weather services for Kier.

About the Role: As a Highway Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working closely with the Reactive Works Manager to program, manage, and deliver routine and severe weather services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating and supervising works and resources to ensure compliance with program and maintenance requirement plans.
  • Managing performance, training, and development in accordance with business needs.
  • Coordinating emergency response and remedial repairs while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with health and safety responsibilities.
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and emergency services as required.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in the highways industry with knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery.
  • Hold an SSSTS or higher and a full driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with a range of stakeholders.
