Job Overview
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit is seeking a dedicated and proactive Procurement Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our Transactional Procurement Team. This role primarily focuses on delivering administrative assistance to the Procurement team and providing project support to the Senior Procurement Manager.
Work Environment
While the position is officially located at our office, it will predominantly involve remote work following initial training, with occasional visits to the office for team meetings as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders, ensuring a reliable, compliant, and valuable procurement service.
- Execute a competent level of administrative tasks, including the conversion of purchase requisitions into orders and organizing business travel arrangements.
- Assist in the successful delivery of Transactional Procurement initiatives and support the Senior Procurement Manager in achieving the annual work plan, ensuring adherence to key milestones and performance indicators.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field, or substantial relevant experience.
- Proven experience with computerized data systems.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Procurement Department.
