About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Swimming Teacher to join our team at Lords Meadow, Crediton. As an Assistant Swimming Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and coach swimming lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities, following the standards set by MDDC.
  • Manage classes effectively, maintain accurate records, and assist in the efficient operation of the facility.
  • Work closely with the Swimming Lesson Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of swimming lessons and the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment.
  • Adhere to current codes of practice, MDDC, Health and Safety at Work Act, Data Protection Act, Child Protection, and all standard operating and emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • Swimming Teachers Association (STA) Level 2 Award or Certificate, or Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Swimming Teacher Level 1.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development and a desire to learn and grow with the organization.
  • Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
