Criminal Records Specialist

Are you a seasoned Senior Contracts Officer looking to leverage your expertise in the Aerospace industry? Do you want to join a global leader in electronic components, driving innovation and sustainability? Due to increased workload, this pioneering manufacturing business is seeking a Senior Contracts Officer to join their team in Rochdale on a 6 to 12 month contract.
The Role
This is a high-stakes position requiring exceptional time management, adaptability, and attention to detail. As a Senior Contracts Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing commercial strategies for bids, collaborating with the Estimating Officer on pricing aspects, ensuring timely submissions, and owning the end-to-end bid process.
- Creating high-quality final bid documents within defined deadlines, with a focus on commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Providing commercial support to the Business Development team, securing new opportunities with existing and new customers, and serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
- Organizing and leading Gate Reviews for bids, producing engaging PowerPoint presentations.
- Assisting the Senior Legal & Commercial Manager with contract negotiations, terms, and conditions queries.
- Maintaining satisfactory compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and HSE requirements.
- Demonstrating strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of terms and conditions.
- Proficiency in MS software, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent requirements.
