About the Role:

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team in Blackburn. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
  • Encourage and facilitate social activities, promoting engagement and participation among service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, with a focus on learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and personal care procedures.
