Weekend Care Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team at a beautiful care home in the Alfreton area. The successful candidate will work alongside our existing team of care staff to provide high-quality care to our elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all care plans are followed to provide the level of support appropriate to each service user.
- Undertake personal care duties, including preparing light meals and fluids as required.
- Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment, including hoists, slings, and slide sheets.
- Oversee the health and safety of service users under your care.
- Undertake basic cleaning duties, following relevant cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
- A full and up-to-date CV.
- A minimum of 12 months of paid UK care experience working within a care or nursing home.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
- Two professional references covering a minimum of 2 years, including one from your most recent employer.
- Access to your transport or reliable commuting options.
Hours: 07:00 to 14:15 on Saturdays and Sundays.
The pay rate for this role is: £11.44 per hour.
