Job Title: Trading Systems Support Analyst

The Group offers a comprehensive range of services, including Market Making, Clearing, Hedging, and Investment Solutions, as well as Agency and Execution. With a strong presence in major metals, energy, and agricultural products, Marex executes around 50 million trades and clears 205 million contracts annually.

The Technology Department plays a critical role in delivering differentiation, scalability, and security for the business. Reporting to the COO, Technology provides digital tools, software services, and infrastructure globally to all business groups. Our teams work in agile 'streams' aligned to specific business areas, ensuring seamless collaboration and innovation.

The Trading System Support Analyst provides 1st/2nd level support to all Front Office, real-time trading, and market data systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1st/2nd line support for all Trading Platforms offered to both internal and external client bases
  • Assisting in client On-Boarding and exchange reporting & Compliance audits
  • High Frequency trading platform knowledge and user & account administration
  • Manual ticket booking and system outage management of client trades
  • Liaison between technology dept. and business groups to communicate changes
  • On-going review of manual processes to identify improvements and automation opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with front end systems and admin tools, including Fidessa, TT, Stellar, CQG, Webice, CME Direct, and various other ISVs
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of dealing with Global exchanges such as ICE, CME, Eurex, etc.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in Exchange connectivity for global derivative, commodity, cash, and equity markets
  • Excellent working knowledge of database queries and Excel for Compliance audits and management reporting
  • Minimum of 1 year's previous experience of client On-Boarding for both Fix and bespoke API protocols
  • Minimum of 2 years' market knowledge to handle 1st line system admin requests
  • Working knowledge of FIX Messaging Protocol with a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience
