Conveyancing Team Lead Opportunity at WLS Solicitors

This is an exciting time to be at WLS Solicitors, a rapidly expanding law firm with a strong presence in Worcestershire, Berkshire, Norfolk, and London. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Team Lead to join our Malvern office and lead our Conveyancing team to further success.

As a Conveyancing Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing ongoing Conveyancing matters, assisting with file management, and working closely with other Conveyancers and Secretaries to ensure the progression of matters. You will also be expected to help with Business Development, including establishing and building relationships with third parties and attending networking events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corresponding with clients and third parties via telephone, email, and letters in a polite and timely manner
  2. Meeting with clients and providing advice
  3. Overseeing ongoing Conveyancing matters and assisting with file management
  4. Working with other Conveyancers and Secretaries to ensure the progression of matters
  5. Helping with Business Development, including establishing and building relationships with third parties and attending networking events
  6. Assisting with the training and support of junior members of staff
  7. Managing and prioritizing own workload
  8. Meeting required deadlines
  9. Reviewing instructions and title registers
  10. Reviewing documents provided by clients and third parties
  11. Producing and amending the relevant documents
  12. Complying with AML Regulations and completing ID checks
  13. Submitting documents to the Land Registry
  14. Dealing with requisitions when raised

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be someone who is not afraid to be an integral member of the team, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has strong leadership skills. You will also need to be confident communicating verbally and in writing with a variety of clients and businesses.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, together with the opportunity of additional bonuses and commission. This means you could be earning up to £75,000 to £80,000 per annum in total.
