Retail Management Trainee
Are you a seasoned team leader or supervisor in the retail, hospitality, or another customer-centric sector? Are you eager to advance into a managerial position?
If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
We are seeking to hire a retail management trainee for our locations in the surrounding area. This is a permanent full-time role (45 hours per week) with a variety of shifts, working 5 days out of 7 each week.
Please be aware: Training may occur in various locations, so please consider the practicality of this before applying.
What does the training entail?
Initial training will involve working closely with an experienced store manager to enhance your practical skills in retail management.
You will then manage your store with substantial support from your Area Manager.
Approximately 3-6 months into your training, you will assume full responsibility for our locations while continuing to develop your management skills with guidance from your area manager.
You will work towards a Level 4 Retail Manager apprenticeship qualification with our accredited training provider.
Assistance will be provided for improving your Maths and English skills (if necessary).
At the conclusion of your training, you will complete an independent end-point assessment.
This is an 18-month training program, and upon successful completion, you will be offered a permanent position.
In return for your dedication and effort, you will receive:
A starting salary of £29, which will increase to £32,332.28 after 6 months.
A Level 4 Retail Manager apprenticeship qualification.
Paid time allocated for completing your apprenticeship coursework.

As a Retail Management Trainee, you will:
Be fully accountable for your store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that operational routines are followed to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Inspire and guide your team to achieve maximum efficiency and success.
Lead by example and actively participate in the daily operations of our busy stores.
Manage key expenses, including payroll, shrinkage, and waste.
Meet standards related to customer service, cash handling, health & safety, inventory management, merchandising, and presentation.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of your team.
