Job Opportunity: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Additional Resources Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing various types of Distribution and Ro-Ro Tractors at customer premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct technical inspections using manuals and diagnostic techniques to identify and repair faulty machine parts.
  • Undertake thorough assessments of accident-damaged vehicles and compile accurate reports for necessary repairs.
  • Obtain customer approval upon completion of work and secure signatures as required.
  • Maintain high standards of preventative maintenance as per manufacturer's guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience in auto electrical fault diagnosis and repair, particularly with heavy goods or specialist vehicles.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Familiarity with current road traffic laws, including speed limits and driver regulations.
  • Understanding of modern diagnostic systems and techniques.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
