Job Summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Flow Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Flow Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hydrocarbons through pipelines and other flow assurance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare all technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during the different phases of the project, including conceptual studies, front-end engineering design (FEED), tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and operations.
  • To follow up on supplier call for tender and selection processes for Flow Assurance discipline when applicable.
  • To review and approve FEED, tender, and detailed engineering performed by contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
  • To be responsible for flow assurance activities within the subsea systems department.
  • To have extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer throughout the various phases of project development, from concept development to execution and handover to operations.
  • To have graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
  • To be able to identify, define, and analyze complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes.
  • To be proficient in the use of software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, and Unisim.
  • To have knowledge of programming languages such as Matlab, C++, and Python.
  • To have experience with technical audits and design and safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZID's, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

  • To have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or any other related engineering discipline.
  • To have demonstrable experience in Flow Assurance in all project phases, including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and operations.
  • To have experience in FEED/EPC projects.
