Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our dynamic team at Mill Garth Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
    • Provide compassionate and empathetic care, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
    • Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Lead and Develop the Nursing Team
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
    • Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
    • Contribute to quality improvement projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
    • Participate in audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain Professional Skills
    • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice to ensure personal and professional growth.
