Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fire Security Engineer Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire and security systems, working closely with experienced engineers to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain fire alarms, access control systems, door entry systems, and other security equipment
  • Work at various locations, including residential properties, commercial properties, and industrial premises
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 or above
  • Willingness to drive and obtain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training and Development

You will be studying towards the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, delivered by Skills for Security. This comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this role.

Future Prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be offered a full-time position as a qualified Fire Security Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the fire and security industry and develop a long-term career with Skills for Security.
