Your expertise in Gastroenterology and Endoscopic techniques will be invaluable as you deliver exceptional gastrointestinal services to our patients.
As a Consultant at Practice Plus Group, you will benefit from state-of-the-art facilities within a supportive and well-organized environment. Our focus is on providing high-quality day case treatments across various specialties while ensuring excellent clinical outcomes.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere where patient care is paramount. Our modern Surgical Centre is equipped with two endoscopy rooms, utilizing advanced Olympus and Fujinon endoscope systems.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Medical Director of the Surgical Centre, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and perform a variety of Endoscopic procedures. Your role will involve:
- Delivering gastroscopy and colonoscopy services to both NHS and private patients.
- Conducting procedures primarily under local anaesthesia, with or without sedation.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess full and specialist GMC registration, along with documented evidence of subspecialty training. You should have substantial experience in a specialized department addressing upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions, and the capability to provide expert opinions on a range of elective gastroenterology issues.
