About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with complex care needs, including spinal cord injury and neurological conditions, to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our female client with a spinal cord injury and neurological condition with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Work on a zero-hours contract, with regular consistent work and set rolling rotas.
  • Commit to working regularly each month to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature.
  • Flexibility and reliability, as continuity of care is essential for our clients.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A full UK driver's license, as our client requires support with driving.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive rate of £115 per day on a zero-hours contract.
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas.
