Ritz Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our student accommodation facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of internal and external areas of the building.
- Carry out plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains, replacing washers, and fixing faucets.
- Identify and report any immediate problems or hazards found during maintenance tasks.
- Assist with decorating rooms and general carpentry tasks, including fixing doors and locks.
- Unblock sinks and descale shower heads.
- Move furniture and perform tasks as needed to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Paint and decorate areas as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance or handyman work, preferably in a residential or domestic setting.
- Experience in a trade, such as plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work.
- Strong customer service skills and a team player mindset.
- Ability to adhere to all Health and Safety measures.
- Friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude.
