Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly proficient Senior Executive Support Specialist to deliver exceptional executive, administrative, and corporate assistance to the Director of Income Generation and Engagement. This opportunity arises following an internal promotion within our fundraising team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Director of Income Generation and Engagement, overseeing our esteemed fundraising and communication teams.
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced department while maintaining a high standard of administrative service.
- Utilize a unique blend of traditional executive assistant capabilities and a tailored approach to meet the specific requirements of supporting a visually impaired director, who is accompanied by a guide dog.
Team Environment:
Join a high-performing Executive Support team, collaborating with experienced colleagues and management to support the Senior Leadership Team. The role is primarily based in our Head Office, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of two days on-site each week, along with occasional travel to other locations as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in roles such as Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Administrator, showcasing:
- Strong executive support and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office.
- The ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Effective planning, prioritization, and time management skills to handle busy schedules.
- Excellent organizational skills and a creative approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to make decisions relevant to the role.
- Experience in providing meeting support.
- Previous exposure to the charity or healthcare sectors is advantageous, as is experience working with volunteers.
