About the Role

We are seeking an experienced graduate civil engineer to join our busy civil and structural engineering team in Bradford-on-Avon. As a graduate civil engineer, you will assist our teams on a variety of engineering projects, including renewable energy, waste management, and environmental engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide office-based assistance to senior engineers on a diverse range of projects
  • Assist with engineering design work, preparation of contract and tender documents, specifications, and associated duties
  • Supervise construction projects and record keeping
  • Coordinate sample collection and processing of results
  • Work as part of a design team reporting to a senior engineer
  • Assist with the compilation of design and tender packages
  • Assist project managers with the management of engineering projects
  • Assist with report compilation

About You

The successful candidate will have a 2:1 or first-class degree in civil engineering and a full driving license valid in the UK. You should have a general understanding of civil engineering principles, be numerate and confident with data, and IT literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A willingness to learn and ability to cope with working on different types of projects simultaneously are essential.
