Deputy General Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Aztec Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Manage key operational teams, ensuring the highest levels of guest experience are provided at every touch point.
  • Leadership and Strategy: Report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Leadership Team to deliver the operational and sales strategy for all areas.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop Departmental Managers, and work closely with Heads of Department to support recruitment, retention, and training.
  • Financial Management: Complete monthly P&L reviews with managers, reporting results and actions to the General Manager.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years experience in an Operations Manager role in Four Star Hotels or above.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving commercial success.
  • Culture: A thorough understanding of the industry and market place, with a strong commercial culture and a focus on enhancing the guest journey.
